Founded in Le Locle, Switzerland by Charles-Felicien Tissot and his son in 1853, Tissot succeeded in selling their savonnette pocket watches in the Russian Empire in its early years. In 1880, Tissot registered its first logo, following the entry into force of the first Swiss Trademark Protection Act. Since 1983, Tissot has become a part of the Swiss Swatch Group. Today, Tissot has shown its passion for sports, partnering with many world-class sport events with its outstanding watchmaking techniques of creating precise and innovative timepieces.
